Under Construction

WARNING:
There a many ways to ship your transmission to us these are a few different ways
that you can do so. You do not have to ship your transmission our way, you can
build a box or secure it in a HARD plastic container. We STRONGLY
recommend that you DO NOT put your transmission in a cardboard box with
some packing peanuts and bubble tap and ship it ups or fed-ex ground. The
regular delivery driver only has a dolly to move heavy boxes around They roll
them around and stand them up on end and digs the dolly into your case or shafts
causing major damage. We've seen this time and time again and can not be
responsible for broken transmissions due to poor shipping measures. Please
always ship freight, with your transmission secured and well protected no
matter the carrier
Shipping by truck:
To properly ship your transmission by truck. Start with a pallet longer and wider than the
transmission it self, then place a 2x4 on each side of the transmission, to
prevent it from sliding around. Then bolt a 24"x24" peace of ply-wood threw
the bottom two bell housing bolt holes. Then screw it to another 2x4 on the inside of the ply wood.
(Its best to place the plywood against the bell housing then place your
long 2x4 on the inside of the plywood. Remove the plywood and screw it to the
pallet Put the Plywood against the bell housing mark the bottom two holes with a
center punch. Remove the plywood and drill the two holes with a 1/2 drill bit).
Then use a ratchet strap or metal strap around the middle of the transmission
securing it to the pallet to keep it from flopping around during shipping. As
seen in two pictures below (click thumbnail to enlarge)
